New Decisions Taken Regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year at Our University

Based on the letter dated March 31, 2023, titled “New decision regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year” from the Higher Education Council Presidency Education-Teaching Department:

- Due to the allocation of student dormitories to earthquake victims, causing accommodation problems, all theoretical and practical courses in academic units (except those currently conducted face-to-face) to be conducted via distance education method until April 24, 2023,

- Midterm exams of the spring semester in all our academic units (except for programs granted special student status and/or containing practical training and conducted face-to-face) to be conducted via distance education method between April 08-16, 2023,

- 03 Until April 03, 2023, the postponed “practices of the courses, determined by academic units to be conducted in the form of assignments, projects, etc., or face-to-face within the spring semester, summer term, or the next academic term,

- In the evaluations to be made; open-ended or multiple-choice online exams, assignments, online quizzes, projects, Learning Management System (LMS) activities, LMS usage analytics, and similar applications can be used,

- The method of education to be applied after April 24, 2023, to be evaluated by our University Senate and announced again at a later date, the matters of;

As of 03.04.2023, exclusively for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, with the University Senate Decision dated March 31, 2023, and numbered 532/1, it has been deemed appropriate to be implemented at our University.
